3.25 inches (80 mm) Length.
Guatemalan Blue Jadeite Sculptured ‘Lily’
Difficult to see in images the three different surface textures impart an unexpected sense of dimension.
Highly polished petal in the front with matt finish on the reverse and the top detail softly glossed.
Only a few grams of this rare, pale blue jadeite was able to be secured over a year ago.
This lily form is the only piece to date carved form the small block.
Just another two or three works of a similar nature will be able to be made from this particular stone.
